A successful saw line upgrade was done for Holzhof Schmidt’s sawmill in Aspang, Austria. The upgrade consisted of a pair of ANDRITZ PowerHead canter heads and the outcome was faster knife change & longer service life of the knives. Furthermore, the sawn surface quality was improved, and the chip quality is now higher.
