Shutdown Management
Typical shutdown times in paper mills are scheduled on a monthly basis, and one of the key issues to be dealt with is fabric changing. This also provides opportunities for regular maintenance. However, longer outages do still take place once or twice a year for larger-scale maintenance.
With this service, the ANDRITZ team firstly manages, executes and then monitors the restart of your mill. ANDRITZ also uses its IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) technology, Metris, to monitor the shutdown schedule in real time, to facilitate faster decision making. Then, once your mill is back up and running, we monitor production stability over the next 15 days, to calculate the performance of the shutdown.
